LSU Conspiracy Theory

After the firing of LSU Lady Tiger's basketball coach, Pokey Chatman, from allegations of sexual relations with former players, reports have surfaced that the romantic incidents between Pokey and her players were first reported to school officials in February. The question arises as to why the school took nearly a month to terminate Chatman.

One theory focuses on the school hoping that the story would fizzle out on its own before becoming a national item, thereby enabling the program to retain the recruiting advantage that it had in Pokey. For some reason or another, the brawny and beefy high school basketball players instantly hit it off with the playful Pokey. Maybe it was her giving nature, after all she did finish as LSU's all time assists leader, meaning that she knows a thing or two about putting other girls in a position to score. Firing Chatman would mean sacrificing the relationships that she has been able to strike up with recruits and risking that future prospects wouldn't enjoy the taste or flavor of the that the Tiger program had with Chatman.

Access has been restricted to players until the season is over, especially to questions about Chatman getting fired. School officials are fearful that with a little smooth talking the players would easily give up the goods.

Amaechi first openly gay endorser?

John Amaechi continues to have the money pour in after his recent bestseller announcing his extrication from the closet hit the shelves one month ago. In his latest coup, Amaechi has signed on to be a spokesman for HeadBlade which manufactures a special razor for men who shave their heads regularly.

"John Amaechi is the newest face of the brand because he embodies many of the
qualities representative of a HeadBlader," HeadBlade chief executive Todd Greene
said. "He is a man comfortable in his own skin and he's not afraid to go against
the grain."
I find it hard to believe that he would be the first openly gay endorser of a mainstream product. Elton John has to be endorsing something. One can also argue how mainstream the HeadBlade really is since most people have never heard of it. Talk to me when Clay Aiken is endorsing Coke.

Strongest Gay Man in World

Chris Morgan, current Gay Games Powerlifting Champion (What?!?), qualified for the British Championship final where he hopes to emerge victorious after four previous trips to the final. If you hold the title of Gay Games Powerlifting Champ, does that make you the strongest gay guy in the world? At the Gay Games do they test your sexuality to confirm that there are no straight guys sneaking in there just to win the title over the scrawny sissy men? What does the wrestling event look like? To really find the strongest gay guy in the world, they should take the gay games champion and have him face off against the prison system champ. That would be a true title.

But Timmy is really, really sorry Daddy

Tim Hardaway apologized again for saying that he hates gay people. This time he actually acknowledged that he did something "that was very bad." Wow maybe he finally felt the contrition of true remorse after his callous "apology" the week before. Or maybe it was that David Stern grounded him from NBA events and customers said that they didn't want to play at his car wash anymore. Tim had to see that the next step was to take away his GI Joes and he was not going to let that happen. The lesson here: A better apology is always a better deal than loosing your GI Joes.

Greg Louganis hates straight people

Greg Louganis, appalled by the controversy surrounding Tim Hardaway, came out with these hypothetical remarks:

"You know, I hate straight people, so I let it be known. I don't like
straight people and I don't like to be around straight people," he said while a
guest on Sirius OutQ 109 Gay Radio. "I'm heterophobic. I don't like it. It
shouldn't be in the world or in the United States, especially around Key West,
Provincetown, or San Francisco."

Tim Hardaway is rumored to be in hiding for fear that the gay community will teach him the true meaning of Killer Crossover.

Tim Hardaway Doesn't Like Gays.

Here is an interview Tim Hardaway did with Dan Lebetard earlier today. Sure sounds like he doesn't like gay people. I sincerely hope for him that he never ends up in prison or lives in the Bay Area again. He is likely to get picked up by a pink and pastel colored mobbed, stripped naked, and pounded mercilessly until he dies from rectal hemorrhaging or a ruptured esophagus.

Lebetard: How do you deal with a gay teammate?

TH: Ewww. First of all I wouldn’t want him on my time. Second of all, you know if he was on my team, I would, you know, really distance myself from him cause I don’t think that’s right and you know he shouldn’t be in the locker room while we’re in the locker room. There’s a whole lot of other things. I wouldn’t even be a part of that but you know, the stuff like that going on, there’s a lot of other people out here like that, that’s still in the closet and don’t want to come out the closet, um, I’ll just leave that alone.

Lebetard: You know that what you’re saying there Timmy is flatly homophobic. Right? It’s bigotry.

TH: Well you know I hate gay people. I let it be known. I don’t like to be around gay people. I’m homophobic. I don’t like it. It shouldn’t be in the world or the United States. I don’t like it.
