Fans in many cities can breath a little easier now. Ben Sheets made it through nine innings of dominant pitching without getting hurt. Nomar stayed healthy but performed like a guy on the DL. JD Drew decided not to take the afternoon of with aches or pains either. CC Sabathia didn't strain a stomach muscle while eating between innings of his winning performance. All in all a banner opening day for the frequently injured of the MLB fortunate enough to actually make it through spring training healthy.
