Mike "The Ultimate Leader" Shannahan received a three year contract extension from the Denver Broncos as a reward for his continued success in being good enough to lose in the first round of the playoffs or barely miss making them for eight solid years now. In addition to his quasi-success on the field, he has accumulated a stellar player personnel resume over this time bringing together the Pro Bowl caliber roster that included at points names like Maurice "Get Ya Goose On" Clarett, Gerard "Big Money" Warren, Courtney "IR" Brown, Bill "Sucker Punch" Romanowski, and Jake "Create Your Own Obstacles to Success" Plummer. If the rest of us had such easy lives, I would have received a three year scholarship extension in college to attend for my 7th, 8th, and 9th years instead of being forced to finally graduate. But alas, it wasn't so and freshman girls are safer everywhere.
